About Mare

As a therapist, I've learned most of my job is helping people unlearn all the things we gather from our families, society, and systems of oppression that tell us that we are the problem. Even modern psychology tells us a story that something is wrong with us and we come to therapy to be fixed. I am not here to fix you because I don't believe you are broken. I am here to help you witness yourself, unburdened from the clutter that has been downloaded into us for generations and to feel reorganized by standing in your authenticity. How do I actually feel? Who am I? What are the stories I choose to keep?

Experience

I have over 5 years of experience working as a therapist in a variety of settings with individuals, couples, and families. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I offer a unique perspective, using a systemic approach to mental health to consider the impact of relationships, systems, and cultural narratives on overall wellbeing.

Next Steps

There are always things we can work on, no matter how urgent or mundane they seem for us. Coming to therapy to face this work can feel daunting and overwhelming at times, but when you are ready, I will be here to walk alongside you through this process, offering hope, witnessing, and clarity amidst the heaviness.
